The practice changes hands. The plan has to hold together.

Build In York coordinates the property, facility and development side of healthcare practice transitions. We organize the physical questions and help the agreed advisers work toward one timeline—while disclosing any referral, introduction or proposed design-build interest in advance.

Discuss a transition ↗
01

Business value

Independent valuators and financial advisors assess the practice and transaction.

02

Real estate

Brokers, owners and legal advisors address the premises and agreements.

03

Built environment

We assess site fit, renovation or new-build implications and the path to an operational space.

Our role / disclosed interests

A coordination partner, not a broker—and clear about it.

A practice purchase or sale can involve an operator, building owner, prospective buyer, appraiser, broker, lender, lawyer and accountant. We coordinate information and timing around the physical practice and its next chapter. We may introduce a prospective buyer or adviser from our network, and we may propose design and construction work afterward. Those interests are disclosed in writing and in advance.

Build In York does not set transaction terms, negotiate a sale or lease, determine value, or provide brokerage, legal, tax, appraisal or lending advice. Each independent professional remains responsible for their own findings, advice and regulated work.

A connected process

From opportunity to a workable next step.

01

Understand the opportunity

Clarify the practice goals, premises, timing, stakeholders and questions that need independent valuation or professional review.

02

Test the property and plan

Review location and build-out implications: lease or ownership terms, permitted use, access, infrastructure, renovation scope and project timing.

03

Keep specialists aligned

With the parties' authorization, organize decisions alongside the broker, appraiser, lawyer, accountant, lender and other advisors in their respective roles.

04

Plan what happens next

Connect the transition to the space: adapt, expand, relocate or develop a new practice environment where appropriate.

Three industries. Different realities.
